Melbourne International Animation Festival - 'Tortoise' Official Selection

The Melbourne International Animation Festival (MIAF) is a celebration of the best recently released, historical and retrospective animation from around the world.
Held annually in Australia, MIAF showcases a comprehensive line-up from award winners, outstanding industry veterans, inspiring independents, stupendous studios and those wonderful newcomers exploring their talent on screen for the very first time.
'Tortoise' was an official selection for the 2026 festival, screening on the opening night as part of the Australian Animation Showcase.
I was also invited to speak at the International Student Animation Festival day held at Backlot Studios, discussing how my artistic practice has evolved, the universal nature of animation and the challenges and opportunities of creating in an increasingly interconnected world.
