'Tortoise' has been selected for the Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF), one of the world’s leading animation festivals. Founded by the Canadian Film Institute and celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, OIAF is a five-day festival bringing together animation artists, filmmakers, industry professionals and audiences for screenings, talks, exhibitions, events and industry programs.

Tortoise is an official selection for the 2026 Darwin International Film Festival. Running from 10–20 September 2026, DIFF brings together Australian and international cinema across 11 days of screenings, special events and filmmaker experiences.

'Tortoise' has been selected for the 12th edition of Animaphix – New Contemporary Languages Film Festival, an international festival dedicated to contemporary animation and the exploration of animation as an artistic language.
