Animaphix New Contemporary Languages Film Festival - 'Tortoise' Official Selection

'Tortoise' has been selected for the 12th edition of Animaphix – New Contemporary Languages Film Festival, an international festival dedicated to contemporary animation and the exploration of animation as an artistic language.
Held from 3–9 August 2026 in Bagheria, Sicily, Animaphix brings together animation from around the world alongside exhibitions, video installations, retrospectives, artist talks and industry events. The festival’s 2026 programme featured films from 18 countries across four international competition sections, highlighting diverse approaches to contemporary animated filmmaking.
'Tortoise' is screening on Wednesday 5 August at 10:30pm at Arena Guttuso, as part of Animaphix’s Animated Painting Competition.
