TANZAHOi is a live performance and dance film festival in Hamburg Germany. Held over one week from the 3rd to the 11th of September 2021, as well as online.
The first weekend, 3. – 5. Sept. at METROPOLIS Kino, features 3 live-streamed dance performances, 24 newly created dance films, and the Audience Choice 2020 for the main festival program, TANZAHOi – Take Part in Another World, under the curatorial theme “body and image under the pandemic.” My film, Days Like These is screening as part of this fantastic program and I will be taking part in a Q&A on Sunday 5th.
The second weekend, featuring the Panorama Special Program 10. – 11. Sept, includes an online stream of perspective-changing dance films and an interactive dance performance. Additionally a dance performance and film experience will take place live at Kraftwerk Bille, all with an emphasis on “dance language, live-stream, film language.”
